I pretty much believe in an 'anything goes' approach when it comes to creating music but I do wish genres would pack up their destructive influence and leave music alone. I write and record music because it's  a really fun thing to do. 

I've rarely ever wanted to make an accurate recording of something necessarily. I definitely want to make a good recording but in the end I just want whatever it is to sound better than it really does. 

I play the piano just about every day, mainly as some sort of music therapy for myself. I don't even really like most of the stuff I sit down and play. But creating/recording/producing music is exciting and seems worth doing. It seems like a whole lot more than just being a musician — i'm looking forward to it jumping around here and listening to what you're doing too.
