Song information
Cover of a Fruit Bats song (Eric D Johnson). I was not especially aiming for it, but someone (somewhere) described this as "goofy sounding". And i kinda like that (whatever that means). A waltz with piano, fuzzy horns and kitchen ustensils....and if you wait long enough, everything (everything) gonna be just fine. All instruments, vocals, mix and mastering by moi. Hope you'll enjoy the ride !

There's just something about that 3/4 ballad beat that gets me rocking back and forth in time in my chair. Kinda helps when there's a good melody to drive it. Love the various "supporting sounds" that kept me locked in.

Wonderful song.....and I adore the arrangement....it's just bliss....bravo my friend. And the vocals...wow....I try to drink my whisky but for some genetic reason I'll never achieve that amazing voice you possess.....wish I could 'cause it's perfect :-)

Not many songs are written with a 6/8 tempo. Leonard Cohen uses this signature quite a bit! It's a great tempo to dance to. And I am thoroughly enjoying your song! You're an excellent musician and love your tone!

This is fun and interesting at the same time. A bit "out of the box", but I'm not sure I'd call it goofy. It's better than that... I DID "enjoy the ride." šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘ŒšŸ‘

Music is subjective, there is no goofy. It's all good. One man's ceiling is another man's floor. Well done, Sir Goof!

While you have a wide array of studio chopsā€¦ and it would be impossible to pigeon hole you into a specific genreā€¦ it always seems to me that your voice is the thread that weaves it all together and is one of your most valuable assetsā€¦ you understand the worth theatre and emotional range in your storytellingā€¦

Really nice. I also wondered who did the bgvs. The chord progression is also very interesting -- enough so that I had to grab a guitar to figure out what was going on. As far as I can tell: B C#7 E B | B A E B

Don't know if you wanted it as it is but, personally, I would have lower a little bit the piano :-) The 6/8 tempo is quite unusual, Pink Floyd used it in "Money". Lot to listen here and it's enjoyable. Nice comments you got my friend.
