Clowns can be very scary when they spy on you hiding in a manhole ;-) You succeeded in creating something harmonious even with lot of different melodies palying together (polyphony).
The heyoka of the great plains, the Sioux is a contrarian, jester, and satirist, a kind of sacred clown, who speaks, moves and reacts in an opposite fashion to the people around them. He was consider a Holy Man. Typically they would possess a great sense of humor, with "laughter as the greatest medicine" . The gift of making people laugh. "Find your path. Stay on the path. I’m always curious about what comments my music might bring and I gotta say I never thought Dance of the Clowns would elicit something about the Heyoka of the great plains. I appreciate it and I will stay on the path.
