Lyrics
Fight Another Day

Verse 1
The time has come the fighting's over
Overwhelmed, the odds were just too great
The battle's lost but you know we can recover
Whilst we're alive, you know it's not too late

Chorus
This was a fight we could not win
It's time for us to run away
The battle's lost, we count the cost
And live to fight another day

Verse 2
There's nothing glorious in dying
Dying is worse than suffering defeat
Truth is when the bullets are really flying
There's so much relief when the bugle sounds retreat

Chorus
Although we lost we did not surrender
It was time for us to run away
No one likes to lose, we had to choose
We chose to fight another day

He who fights and runs away
Lives to fight another day

Hey Shaun, this is really excellent... Lyrics, vocals, music are all top notch!
Don't know if what your intention, but the leads in the left channel almost sound like a bagpipe, and are a perfect fit. This is now my fave by you bro!

I like that original  bass line or is it guitar? Sticks to the ribs ( I mean that in a positive) Like a marching riff.. Impressive as always

Thanks everyone. Joyce. This song began with the bass, then drums, then guitars and finally vocals.
