The mixing of the original track and your sax seems to make the original track dive in volume and the saxes stand out a bit too much in the foreground.

It can sometimes be a hard problem to solve if the original "come on and add your stuff" track is too "loud" by using mastering plugins that squeeze the dynamic range.  For collaboration it is better to release an unmastered softer track that allows others to add stuff. So maybe as a collaborator adding stuff, ask for an unmastered track in a personal message. That is what I have done and I am always happy to provide an unmastered bounce to anyone asking me.
