Song information
I've been eager to release this song for quite some time. Piotr, who handles all our mixing, has been especially busy lately—getting married and all—but he was generous enough to find time to finish this track. He's really passionate about including it on our upcoming album.

This song warmly captures the bittersweet charm of a quirky Irishman (we never knew his real name (so we called him Mr Paddy) who found himself unexpectedly living far from home in Poland. Neither he nor us kids fully understood each other's accents, yet the connection went far beyond words. Through humorous misunderstandings and lively storytelling sessions, he enchanted a captivated an audience consisting of my siblings Marcin and Anna, alongside their friends Hanna and Lena. His presence was a testament to a romantic past, having moved countries for the love of a Polish woman, a tale that feels rare and beautifully old-fashioned today. This track celebrates the innocence and joy of childhood curiosity, the magic of his storytelling, and reflects on a bygone era when ridiculous stories could reshape entire lives.

Lyrics
There was an Irish fellow, Paddy O'Shea,
Lived down our street, not far away.
We'd gather round at half past three,
To hear strange tales we couldn't see.

He spoke in Gaelic, bold and clear,
We smiled and nodded, year by year.
Not a single word could we ever understand,
But we loved his stories from a magical land!

Chorus-
Oh Paddy, dear Paddy, your stories were grand,
Dragons and leprechauns roaming the land.
Laughing and guessing at what you might say,
We hadn't a clue, but we loved it that way!

Instrumental

There was the cow who wore a crown,
And danced a jig all over town.
Or that giant fish who stole his shoes,
We giggled hard, and loved his news.

Chorus-
Oh Paddy, dear Paddy, your stories were grand,
Dragons and leprechauns roaming the land.
Laughing and guessing at what you might say,
We hadn't a clue, but we loved it that way!
