Lyrics
Some bright morning when this life is over, I’ll fly away
To a home on God’s celestial shore, I’ll fly away

Chorus
I’ll fly away, oh glory, I’ll fly away
When I die, hallelujah by and by, I’ll fly away

When the shadows of this life have gone, I’ll fly away
Like a bird from these prison walls I’ll fly, I’ll fly away

Oh how glad and happy when we meet, I’ll fly away
No more cold iron shackles on my feet, I’ll fly away

Just a few more weary days and then, I’ll fly away
To a land where joy will never end, I’ll fly away

I’ll fly away, oh glory, I’ll fly away
When I die, hallelujah by and by, I’ll fly away

A classic cover of a classic Gospel tune.
In 1972 a band called PLAINSONG covered this. You should look it up Jack.
Enjoyed hearing old friends from Macjams!

Love visiting the past.  Very nicely sung and love how the backup vocald intertwine.  That sequence at 1:20 is so cool.

The vocal arrangement is really good, and it's done quite well.  I remember going to a music party, where somebody pulled this one out.
