The man credited with the longest moon walk in history when he was a member of the much-lauded Apollo program in 1971, has called on the U.S. government to end its cover up concerning alien life.
Former Apollo astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell addressed the National Press Club on the subject earlier this week after attending a conference dedicated to the research of UFO existence.
"We are being visited," he told reporters. "It is now time to put away this embargo of truth about the alien presence. I call upon our government to open up... and become a part of this planetary community that is now trying to take our proper role as a spacefaring civilisation."

@SmokeyVW cool spacey music. Very creative and perfectly played. well done. Ive been a space nut ever since the first time I saw Lost In Space. Here I am 55 years later and still hoping to meet an alien. The closest evidence I seen was a star slowly moving across the night sky. Thought it might be a satellite until it did a 90% turn and disappeared into the night. I have a song about aliens but its been on the shelf for about 10 years.
Rendlesham, Pascagoula, the Zamora incident, Shag Harbour, Travis Walton and, of course, Roswell - a partial list of what I think are the more credible claims. I'm a more skeptical believer, but I do think disclosure is coming.
