This song always gets to me. The music’s from Alex North’s score to a little remembered film, but the music is immortal. I really enjoyed your version Al. Sounds like Elvis might have if he lived a bit longer. Well done my friend.
@Bowman Than you sir-I know the film, Elroy 'Crazylegs' Hirsch if I remember correctly not the only song to come from there either-North was a great composer
@TrebleFace Not much of a teacher I'm afraid but my path was- start chain smoking at 14 on the same day start drinking-sing boy soprano in '67 then tenor then baritone and once bass-stop singing until 31 then sing folk and metal for twenty years-age for another fifteen years then loose most of my teeth-that about covers it lol :)
@TrebleFace Thought I should add this-if you listen closeley you can hear my nose is blocked on the high notes and given who payed keys he refused to replay and just said sing better lol
