Night shift under humming lights, 
We pushed the limits for the chart.

Then Reactor Four woke up at once
And tore the dark apart.

Sirens cut through Pripyat streets,
While radios stayed calm and clean.

Graphite burned like blackened stars,
And no-one grasped the unseen.
