Song information
Artist
DanKelleher
A song about people, the lives we lead, and what really matters.

Sometimes it makes me think of my kids, sometimes friends, and sometimes I see a little of myself in it.

It’s not about who you’re supposed to be, how many likes or views you get, or what’s on your paystub. It’s about who you are.

Written and performed by Dan Kelleher.

Thanks for listening. 🎸

Lyrics
Verse 1
Who are you trying to influence?
Posting only who you want to be
All those followers aren’t your friends

Chorus
I don’t care about who you’re not
How many likes or views you got
Your paystub doesn’t mean a lot
I only care about who you are

Verse 2
Nobody ever won at fetch the rock
Slow and steady doesn’t win the race
Don’t need to lead the pack

Chorus
I don’t care about who you’re not
How many likes or views you got
Your paystub doesn’t mean a lot
I only care about who you are

Back in the day, you absolutley didn't want to be an "influencer." I can hear my mom clear as day, "Stay away from so-and-so, he's a bd influence."
Cool song!
