Yes. Jingle Bells.
But with an 80s twist.
I originally recorded this a decade or so ago. It was inspired by one of the local radio stations mixing in a for holiday tunes with their regular fare. At one point a rather traditional version of Jingle Bells faded out over another song - Alan Parson's Eye in the Sky, I think - and for just a second, they kind of meshed just right. I changed the necessary major chords to minor and *voila* it just came together.
This isn't my first time posting it. It was on MJ of old. I'm sure it was on iComp and MJ.net, but this is a new mix with new drums, bass and run through Mastering Assistant in Logic - which is absolutely amazing!
So just a little holiday spirit as we careen recklessly into the bleak armageddon that is the holiday season!
