We are an international community all around the world but we don't know where other members live. I guess majority of us live in US but I know others live in Italy, UK, Netherlands, Thailand, ...
So, let me start with me :-)
I currently live in an apartment with my wife Claire since July 2023 near Aix-en-Provence (near Marseille in the south of France). Our two children (22 and 25 years old) have their own lives, so we are 2 in a 5-room apartment which is at 5th and last stage. We have a very large terrace (130m2) facing south and west with a very wide view of the entire city and the small mountain range in the distance. I never tire of this view.
I live with my dear wife Claire, we have been married for 28 years now, and our dog Flash (a grumpy Maltese bichon).
I live in a housing estate for the disabled in ediburgh and have lived here since 2005, I do not like being a cripple but it is better than being dead-at least i can still play a little
My wife Diana and I live in a small house, in a quiet neighborhood, in Salem, Oregon, USA.
Lots of green trees. Nice local parks. Only 90 minutes from the Pacific coast. Fairly moderate weather year round compared to the rest of the state.
Lived all over the US in our younger days. Been here since May of 1989. Love it here except for the politics. That sucks no matter where you go ...
Thanks for asking Thierry! This Forum thread may bring us all a little closer...

I'm in the U.S. in rural Mississippi, about an hour south of Memphis, where I live out in the middle of the woods with my wife close to the town where I grew up. I came back here about 20 years ago after a career in journalism to run the local library and being back in my hometown (and finally having the time after leaving the stress and long hours of the newspaper business) I dove headfirst back into music - writing, recording and starting a few bands along the way.
Sadly, Mississippi gets a well-deserved bad rap from the rest of the world, but there's another side you don't often see when you're outside looking in. There's a rich artistic and literary history here that goes far beyond William Faulkner, the Blues, and Elvis. It almost seems to permeate the ground at times and you can almost feel it in the air, whether it's on a hot, sticky summer day riding through the Delta, in the cool, crisp Autumn air as you watch a college football game, or in the smell of freshly turned earth in the fields as it wafts on a warm breeze laden with the promise of Spring. I'll be the first to criticize my home when it deserves it (which is quite often and I've written more than one song doing just that), but I'll also sing its praises when that's deserved as well.
I've lived my entire life here so far and don't see that changing. My wife of more than a decade moved here from Chicago 30 years ago, and while she never saw herself living in the woods with a small-town Mississippi boy, we're both pretty happy with where life has taken us.
Very cool of you Thierry

Also spent 5 years in Melbourne is the coastal capital of the southeastern Australian state of Victoria. At the city's centre is the modern Federation Square development, with plazas, bars, and restaurants by the Yarra River. In the Southbank area, the Melbourne Arts Precinct is the site of Arts Centre Melbourne – a performing arts complex – and the National Gallery of Victoria, with Australian and indigenous art.
With time frames in Nottingham and south Wales as in Wales apart of the U.K and some other locations along the way
Hi
I was born in Italy, Moved to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada ( about an hour from the USA border at Niagara Falls) when I was 17 years old. it will be 50 years in June. Married since 1980, two adult sons.
Worked in construction most of my life. Weekends with the band we did weddings or different parties. In the late 80s started recording on 4 track analog recorder and started writhing with a friend... We did a lot songs that way and later on, the computer came in to play and started collaborating on line now it's been over 25 years and a few computers later retiered and still collaborating. It's great to be able to do this from my own home, meeting a lot of people from all over the globe and do something I've loved to do since I was a young boy.
Over the years I've participated in singing competitions many time, the last time only 10 years ago.
Great to be here with all of you! If any of you need a singer, send me a note!
Regards
Dom
Born in South France (100 km north of you Thierry!), spent more than 30 years in Toulouse (close to Spain), and relocated since 3 years in Sweden (Trollhättan, west coast, not far from Norway) with my wife Petra (that is swedish) We live in a sweet small wood house, surrounded by forests and lakes and yes - in the winter - by snow and ice !
I was born in Tucson, Arizona, land of the BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN AMERICA!
Fight me!
At the height of the pandemic, I moved to a place I'd only been once, for a few hours... New Orleans, Louisiana! Perhaps you've heard of it?
It was love at first feel. There's a mysterious vibration here... unlike anywhere else. It's a city where music is foremost, crime is rampant, costumes are the fashion and being wild is required! Wish me luck!
I live a few minutes from the beach in New Jersey USA. Moved from Pennsylvania, where I lived for 63 years, just 8 years ago. So, yes, I'm old, but I have fun. Boat, beach, bike, sports car, I have it all. I escaped a difficult career with just a few scars and a little cash. Married 47 years to a girl I met 50 years ago. three kids, five grandkids. Looking to do a lot of traveling soon.
The Ozarks Missouri is where I live, surrounded by trees, caves, bluffs, hills, lakes, spring feed creeks and rivers. Abundant wildlife and dark evenings to see the stars and milky way.
My town has around 1200 people and is a short 15 min drive to Branson (a live entertainment tourist town where music, theater and family entertainment is a strong business, it has been a strong country music venue for years but has moved into more genres and styles in yhe past few decades, and where I work in theater and entertainment beginningmy careerwith Andy Williams for a decade plus before his passing) Some of my neighbors in the area include members of Rob Zombie, Weezer, the Brady Bunch and other iconic people in the business from the 50s to present day.
I have a small cabin style house where myself my wife our cat and bulldog live. I've been lucky to acquire many (wife say TOO many) toys and gear over the years. I use old school methods of recording and cutting tracks and even use old reel to reel for get analog feel and sound at times, I mainly focus on electronic music which is a rarity in my area where bluegrass and country music rules the radio and live scenes. Branson has a decent independent music scene in the evenings with bars and many restaurants providing entertainment. Weather around here can be interesting but usually nice and sunny and warm on average. Lake fishing, sports, biking, caving, horseback riding are popular in the area as well as one of my favorite hobbies motorcycle rides which the area hosts dozens of them over the year. Its definitely different than many living spots in the world, quiet, fresh air, not the big city feel. We do have a larger city north of us called Springfield and has anything we could ever need from a large city with only a 40 min drive. So it's kinda like being able to be a part of country living but close to city. I can't really complain it's a beautiful area and glad I'm here to enjoy it and all it's wonderful mysteries. I've been in this area for over 25 years and would only change my living scenery for a few other spots on the globe to be honest, I love to travel and see the world but it's great to be here.
We live in Ontario, Canada. Recently retired and moved the extreme SW part of Ontario because the weather is better - it's supposed to be 21 degrees celsius tomorrow. We are about 40 minutes from Detroit.
I live in Eureka California with my wife and Ell the cat. We are both union retirees (an electrician and a teacher) and bought this house 2 years ago. Eureka is an artisan community and full of creativity. I am a chef and multi-instrumentalist since I was in high school.Â
I was born in Foggia Italy and moved to Ontario Canada when I was 6. Â Nowadays I spend my time in Toronto, Ontario and another City called Sault Ste. Marie which is a twin city on the US/Canada border.
