really, it is not for we amateurs. I have a Grammy Award winning engineer with phenomenal ears. Ask the pros. Mastering is an art not a science. It is meant to cover the entire album and the songs flow by having the right verb, EQ, etc. It is the grand finale! And it really doesn't cost that much.
