Will AI be the next Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee? Lol!

When I write a song I am a songwriter, but when AI is involved in writing my song, did I write the song or did the computer? The computer did. I think we need to use our own musical abilities or learn the old-fashioned way and learn if you're not musically inclined. Music should be written by an expressive soul. The band Boston wrote their own songs or at least written by an individual. No AI back then! They were original and good. They finally got into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Next will AI software be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? I don't want to see AI software reaching that much attention. I suppose we may just see that in the near future when artist don't compose for themselves anymore. Using AI to write some or all of your tunes actually makes the songwriter the computer and the computer the songwriter.
@SplendidMelody i totally agree. As long as something is taking over our creativity, it's no longer a tool, it's clearly a replacement. And what makes every musician or songwriter unique is their own limitations and how they (we) all try to push the envelope. That's when magic happens, and gets personal. The soul is involved, probably. This AI thing will get better and better at "cloning" human voices, textures, and so on. So we'll be fooled and i'm not sure we'll enjoy the feeling. Can we stop it ? No. But we can all choose to not use it and, therefore, promote it... (plus, AI ethics are another giant problem...)
