Song information
Some of you will remember Vic Holman from Macjams.com.

He is a fine musician and a good friend. Back in the day he played guitar on several of my songs.

In October of 2007 (if memory serves!) he recruited myself, Kevin Jones, and the late GREAT Michael Marquesen to collaborate with him on a tune.

I got to write and sing the first verse. Kevin Jones handled drums (and bass?). Michael Marquesen contributed both words and music in the Indian mid-section, while Vic wrote and sang most of the lyrics, and played ALL those amazing guitars.

This has long been my favorite by Vic, and I’ll always feel blessed to have played a small part in the making of it.

Been trying to get Vic to join the site for some time now. Here’s hoping!

In the meantime, anyone interested in hearing more of Vic’s music can search for HORSES UNDECIDED on Soundcloud. He has also posted some vids on YouTube that are worth visiting.

And now… let’s all get COSMIC!!!

Lyrics
TOMORROW KNOWS

(Micheal Wark)
I heard the lyre of the Orphic Seer.
When Thera blew I heard the thunder!
I took my stand on Thermopylae’s strand.
I’ve bowed before gods without number…

House of four doors,
infinite shores,
we’re here together for ever!

(Vic)
Tomorrow knows
It comes and it goes,
but I’ll be here forever…

(Michael Marquesen)
I see them reappearing.
I see them in my head.
I hear them in the hallway.
I hear them making plans…

(Vic)
I swam an ocean that since has gone dry;
—climbed a mountain that once touched the sky.
I walked through fire just to feel the heat;
I yelled to the gods so they could hear me speak!

Tomorrow knows.
It comes and goes.
But I’ll be here forever…

Read everything then I went blind,
—cut free all the ties that bind;
—opened my mind with my third eye!

Tomorrow knows.
It comes and it goes;
but I’ll be here forever…

Lot to listen in that crazy piece. Lot of effects on the guitar track. Unexpeted change at 3'00 with that indian vibe. Ethereal rock. Enjoyed the trip.

Good to hear from you as always Omar. Vic was my fave guitarist at Macjams. He's written a lot of great tunes in his own unique style. Hope he joins up!

There is a bit of that John Lennon vibe in the middle where the Indian part takes hold. Big sound! Great guitar work.

Dang, if there was a compilation album, this would fit right along with my latest. We must have been tacitly in the same head space. You couldn't fail with the all star cast mentioned, esp Vic. I do miss Michael though. I got to do at least one collab with him.

Hey Matt, Vic intended this as kind of a sequel to the Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows." Perhaps that's the song you're thinking of?
Glad you enjoyed this one bro!

This piece is one of Vic's most creative efforts. Long a fave of mine!
As for being "in the same head space," I thought pretty much the same thing when I heard your "Caravan Sun."
Two glittering moments of cosmic rock amidst all these recent (quite good!) jazz posts! LOL...
