ODE TO SPRING

I
So long
to freezing rains and icy winds.

The springtime sun is bursting through the clouds again;
and the days are growing warmer and longer.

Everywhere I look
new life's bursting into flower!

Give thanks
for blessed springtime's here again.

I can't
contain the joy I feel within.

As nature shakes off her long, dark cold;
and the world turns green...
it's a wonderful sight to behold!

Yeah!

This stained-glass universe
is a theophany.

The Light shines through
illuminating everything;

And each season refracts 
a part of the Mystery.

And the springtime is a symbol of 
rebirth
for all with eyes to see!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...
