Song information
The first tune I ever posted at iComp, back around 2009 I think, was an instrumental called CAFFEINE.

It was your basic guitars, bass, and drums assault.

I recently remastered the completed file and planned to post it in the near future.

Then several days ago---to my great surprise---I found a DVD that had all the original file stems.

More than that, there were some smokin' SAX tracks that the legendary Andy 'Wiggy' Wigzell had contributed,
but for some odd reason never got used! (My bad...)

I decided to completely remix the tune, and finally incorporate Andy's 'lost' saxophone tracks.

Hope some of you can enjoy this noisy little bugger!

PS:

That's Andy's vox at the beginning. Apparently coffee causes him to lose all sense of decorum!

Lol...

How this tune came about:
I had just received my new Epiphone semi-hollow body guitar in the mail. I took it out, tuned it up, and began to play. Within fifteen minutes all the guitar parts came together. Didn't take too long to record it after that. Perhaps a couple hours at most.
It was a couple weeks later that I sent it to Andy for some saxophone. In the meantime I had already posted the original on iComp and MacJams. I then got busy writing my next tune. By the time I received Andy's sax parts it was too late... until NOW!
My old friend Vic Holman used to say that "Every new piece of gear comes with a song built right into it." I've found that to be true on more than one occasion.
Thanks for the kind words Joyce!

Wow Mike this song rocks.  Metal with a sax.  I love it.  This can easily be in a new batman movie soundtrack.  I'd love to see what you come up with after i give you a doppio espresso spiked with sambuca 😂

Hey Matt, I'd like to see that too! LOL...
"Metal with a sax"---Well why not, since a sax is made of metal?

And it is a cool little bugger at that.   The guitar, it's effects, and the groove, really make this one.
