A while back Omar ask me to collaborate and sent me two rhythm soul ambient funk sketch mixes to work with. I liked them, chose one but couldn’t figure out what to add. No one’s gonna out cool the king of cool but… could combining something new with something old open a new door?
I shortened the first sketch, gave it a working title “Too Late to Pray?” sent it to Omar who to my surprise loved it.
Don’t ask me about the title. It just said "This is what I’m called".
