In France in the mid-late-seventies, there was next to nothing when it came to (French) rock bands. The only one I could listen to without embarrassment was 'Dogs', from Normandy. Their leader, Dominique Laboubée, had both punk energy of the moment and classy knowledge of Rock history. He and his mate produced many albums and played everywhere in France. He tragically died in October 2002, while touring the US. Today we celebrate his birthday with this humble tribute, a cover from their 3rd album. And I am also very happy and grateful to collaborate with with Steve, for the first time. I'm a real fan of his style and this was the perfect opportunity... I hope you'll enjoy this sort-of-blues-noir (as Steve mentioned to me).
