Good Idea :)

I suck at lyrics. I like making melodies. I would love to pick up a set of lyrics and make a stab at it. Great idea

I belong to a few other groups, and they have a corner for lyrics, I check them out all the times and usually I find the right lyrics for what I need that way.

We'll add it to the list of features. Fair warning though, if it's just an open posting of lyrics, people might not follow the appropriate channels for collaborating. We don't want people making music without the permission of the owners. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Ruby... Normally any time there is a collaboration with lyrics from any one on the site, there is always a request to the lyrics writer for his or her OK. When I use lyrics from there I alway send a sample of what my idea is before I go on with the work on it, once I get the OK, Then I will start a collaboration for it. And that is the way we all do it there. At one site we have 20 or more lyricists with many songs we can pick and choose from, they all have a thread with many different lyrics and poems. Thanks Dom

Dom, I used to post them in blogs but that feature has yet or may not be added to the site. If I was posting lyrics I would likely record them as spoken word and put lyrics for colab in the title. Just my 2 cents. What do you think?

There were more replys here, sorry I missed them... Another think would be nice to have here is... To have something that tells us there are new replies. That guitar in front of the name of the post in the foums, is there a way to make it light up when there are new postings. Just an idea! Dom
