After I finished doing several things on the site, I checked my email and saw a Confirmation Link email to click on. I don't remember the site telling me to check my email and confirm, though. Just wanted to pass that along in case it happened to others or I was a fluke and/or not reading well.

A message stating that we need to check our email and verify it would be user-friendly.
I think because throughout the decades that is what we've been conditioned to expect.
