In ancient times it was customary to honor a King by bringing him a gift. One can only guess what that gift might have been. You’re invited to the festivities. This is a short work with an eclectic orchestral palette.

@soulima Funny in the U.S. that could mean skipping out of school. I don’t remember doing that often if at all. But it could also mean “catchy” which I’m hoping it is. I wouldn’t compalin if a video game came calling. Thanks John.
The music sure sounds like it would fit that scene. Are all those instruments part of Logic Pro? They sound good. What instrument do you call that metal sheet like sound at the end, like scraping across a cymbal? Interesting.
@Dav This was an old GarageBand project and is now part of Logic’s Sampler called Orchestral Kit and the instrument is a Tam-tam. Thanks for checking it out Dav.
@Wyndsok Like your description of this Mike, it fits. Don’t often go there, but Middle eastern music has always appealed to me. Happy you enjoyed this little offering my friend. Cheers.
Im obsessed with those ancient civilizations from that area. The conspirist in me makes me want to believe that all this obsession today over that region has something to donwith secrets of the past. To much Graham Hancock lol. Love this short peace. I closed my eyes and felt i was walking through the streets of Babylon.
@TrebleFace Never read Hancock but I did Zecharia Sitchin and Von Daniken. They’re fun and It’s hard not to be intrigued by their theories.
Glad I could - if only for a few moments - take you to another time and place. Thanks Matt.
