There has been some talk about having a "Like" button on each song page. Part of me likes the idea. Another part of me worries that people will be less likely to leave a comment, as clicking the "Like" button might seem enough.
Imo, I think not. It's too much like crappy Facebook..creates unhealthy competition and doesn't really contribute to anything meaningful...plus you make a good point... it'd encourage drive by liking....I say no thanks
Maybe it's not needed here. The "favorite" feature (for each song) needs to be more clear (on the song pages) though... I guess it's nice for everyone to know who enjoys their music (with or without commenting).
